Activision has revealed the Twitch drops for the Modern Warfare 3 beta.This weekend is the first chance the general public has had to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but it's exclusive to PS5 and PS4. The open beta goes live on Sunday, but there's an early access period for folks who pre-ordered the game or snagged a key from Activision. And although Activision says beta code supply has been depleted "for now," you can tune in to beta streams to earn rewards in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Warzone until the beta opens up at the end of the weekend. Here's how:First you have to link your Activision ID with Twitch, and then you just use the linked Twitch account to watch streams of the beta. Rewards will drop in 30 minute, one-hour, two-hour, and four-hour intervals, and those include the Desk Decor loading screen, K1LLF33D weapon charm, Let’s Fight weapon vinyl, and the Dangerful weapon blueprint.The PlayStation-exclusive first weekend of the beta runs until October 10, and it'll pick up again from October 12-14, at which point early access to the beta will open up for Xbox and PC players. Twitch streamer Aaron Travis, better known by his alias Ac7ionMan, has reportedly been arrested. As per the Miami-Dade official website, the streamer was booked on October 4, 2023, for a number of offenses, including carrying controlled substances. Aaron has been quite public with his history of drug abuse, having talked about fighting addiction for over a decade. His story of becoming a successful Twitch streamer and YouTuber after getting over his h*roin addiction was widely reported a couple of years ago in the Fortnite community. Earlier this year, he joined a growing list of streamers to start making content on Kick and has been a staunch supporter of the platform. Twitch is preparing to act against streamers who use dirty tactics to promote their views. That’s where we’re being told that they need to provide a little help. Streamer Gothalion claims Twitch sent him a message asking for his help in identifying these offenders. According to Twitch streamer Gothalion, he received an email from Twitch CEO Dan Clancy asking him to list channels in which streams are accessed by wikis. Gothalion even read a part of the email on the stream. I was the only one that influenced the debate at the time, but many streamers put their streams on a game wiki page to support their views. If you have ever visited the game wiki looking for a guide or a item, then you might have seen this. By visiting a games wiki, you basically tune into those stream without actually doing that, and this boosts the Twitch channel views. Twitch streams consider it a dirty tactic. One of the biggest offenders of this practice was FextraLife. It was not only called out by Gothalion, but also by other streamers like Moistcr1tikal, Ludwig and Asmongold. Twitch has reportedly suffered another round of staff layoffs today, weeks ahead of its flagship TwitchCon convention in Las Vegas. The redundancies, first reported by industry observer Today Off Stream’s Zach Bussey and reported by Gamesindustry.biz, appear to only affect a small number of staff within the company’s customer service organisation. According to GI.biz’s sources, Twitch will outsource those roles moving forward. The layoffs arrive only two weeks ahead of TwitchCon 2023 in Las Vegas, the company’s headline event for creators and fans. The redundancies are not expected to affect the event. This marks the second round of layoffs at Twitch in 2023, in what has become a bit of a troubled year for the streamer. In March, more than 400 roles were made redundant after parent company Amazon issued an order to reduce payroll by 9,000 jobs across its businesses. In June, the livestreaming giant found itself at odds with its own users when it radically altered its approach to splitting revenue with creators, a change that was hastily walked back after significant outcry from creators and fans alike.

During the last Oracle of Seasons episode, we finally found our way to the eight dungeon, the Sword and Shield Maze. We explored this dungeon and it feels like there is way more to go. I have mentioned that dungeons usually follow one of two formulas in Zelda games. If the dungeon is tough to traverse, the boss of the dungeon will be easy. On the other hand, if the dungeon is easy to get through, then the boss will be challenging. One of the better examples is the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time where the dungeon was a hassle to get through but the boss was easy to beat. Gothalion read an email he supposedly received from Twitch CEO Dan Clancy asking him for a shortlist of people taking advantage of stream embed features amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Fextralife. Prominent gaming site Fextralife has been the subject of scrutiny over the past couple of years for engaging in a controversial practice regarding its Twitch streams. Although the site’s Twitch channel boasts over 1.6 million followers, many viewers have noticed that the amount of chatter going on in their streams doesn’t exactly match up with the amount of viewership these broadcasts seem to have.Article continues after ad This issue first came to the forefront in 2021, when YouTube star Ludwig accused the site of “stealing views” by embedding streams on their game wikis. In doing so, Fextralife’s Twitch channel could receive an abundance of views from people browsing their wikis without actively watching the channel. Super Mario 3 gets the spotlight tonight on Stevetendo! Tonight, on the Stevetendo show, we’re getting back into one of my favorite games, Super Mario Brothers 3. The gameplay is going to have a slightly different feel to it since it will be the Game Boy Advance version of Super Mario 3 instead of the NES original. The Nintendo Switch Online version is the GBA version with the addition of the e-Reader levels built into the game. For those who aren’t aware, the e-Reader was a Game Boy Advance add-on that allowed the player to swipe special cards with bar codes to spice up a playing experience. Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald took advantage of this by adding special trainer battles.That being said, there were classic NES games re-released for the e-Reader as well. Super Mario Brothers 3 did something a little different and brought brand new levels with classic gameplay mechanics to the game. The plan is to play a full playthrough of Super Mario 3 as well as play the e-Reader levels.
