Twitch streamers FaZe Rain and Grace Van Dien have been at odds recently, and things took a turn after Van Dien threatened to leave FaZe. Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan owner Nordan "Rain" Shat has recently been vocal about problems within the company. The influential esports organization, known for competing in various gaming tournaments, was reportedly going through financial troubles. In light of this, Rain accused FaZe's corporate management of "selling out," and exploiting and underpaying members who've been with the organization from the start. Rain's barrage of FaZe exposés on social media would go on for months. The most recent controversy would involve Twitch streamer and Stranger Things actress Grace Van Dien. Also known as bluefille, Van Dien signed with FaZe as a content creator, which was met with mixed reactions. Mostly because Rain previously claimed that the organization would sign celebrities even if they didn't have a gaming background, and would be paid more than FaZe members. The drama between Van Dien and Rain would then escalate in the coming days. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has voiced his opinions about gambling sites being streamed on the platform. In a new interview with streamer Filian, Clancy noted that some specific sites and streams were targeted due to their unregulated nature. Chess.com is hosting a star-studded charity event with Lidé Haiti, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk adolescent girls in Haiti. The June 2 event will be live-streamed on Twitch and bring together, among others, The Office actor and Lidé Haiti’s co-founder Rainn Wilson, Chess.com’s Chief Chess Officer Danny Rensch, and the acclaimed U.S. grandmaster Maurice Ashley.
