Twitch’s most followed female streamer, Moroccan-Canadian Imane Anys, who is popularly known by her gamertag  ‘Pokimane’, is set to visit the Philippines for a three-day convention in Manila this June 2-4, 2023. This was announced on Sunday, April 16, through the streamer’s official Twitter account. “see you soon, philippines! mahal kita!! (the only tagalog i know.. for now )”, Pokimane said in a tweet. As early as March, Pokimane, also called as Poki by her followers, started dropping hints and asked via Twitter if she has Filipino followers. “oh so we goin to the philippines tg or what? ,” read part of Poki’s reply to a co-streamer. Everyone who uses Twitch may have seen the name ‘Pokimane.’ This is because of the various awards that she has garnered since she started streaming on the application. During a recent appearance on Kahlief "SpawnOnMe's" podcast (April 13), Twitch CEO Dan Clancy discussed the topic of discoverability on the platform. Interestingly, he cited the example of Tim "EsfandTV" from OTK to demonstrate how connectivity can aid streamers in their growth. Amazon's (AMZN) Twitch is worth $45 billion - Needham & Company By Sam Boughedda Needham & Company analysts told investors in a note Wednesday that Amazon's (NASDAQ:) Twitch is currently worth $45 billion, or 4% of the tech giant's total market cap. They explained that of this total, about $19B is Twitch's "direct" value if it was separately traded, with $25.6B its "indirect" value, the value Twitch creates for other Amazon businesses. "Twitch's revenue in 2022 was >10x higher than in 2014 when AMZN purchased it. Like Cloud and Advertising, Twitch is another data point underscoring AMZN's strong competence at building market-leading businesses in-house," wrote the analysts, who have a Buy rating and a $120 price target on Amazon shares. "If AMZN was willing to spin off 10% of Twitch as a separately-traded public company, we believe it would add a new group of shareholders to the AMZN story," they added.
