Ramsay’s puzzled response caught the attention of many Twitch users. Lately, larger streamers have started streaming the superstar chef’s show, MasterChef, to their tremendously large audiences while reacting to Ramsay’s eccentric antics. The idea that Ramsay would be blissfully unaware of his popularity on the platform seemed amusing to many. Ramsay even took to Twitter on Sunday to learn more about the streaming platform. Gordon Ramsay, everybody’s favorite angry celebrity chef, wasn’t aware of what Twitch is until very recently. During the premiere of Ramsay’s new show Next Level Chef, he asked contestant Tricia Wang what she does for a living. Wang, better known as TriciaisaBirdy, replied that she had a cooking program on Twitch.  “What the is Twitch?” Ramsay replied, ever the curt wordsmith. The other contestants then began shooting each other nervous chuckles as if trying to explain Netflix to grandpa. It’s somewhat astonishing that Ramsay had no idea what Twitch was, considering the platform’s immense size.
