Why did Channing Tatum break down while honoring Stephen “tWitch” Boss in a rare public speech?

Channing Tatum became emotional as he honored the late Stephen 'tWitch' Boss at the Dance Hall of Fame Ceremony on December 3. The Magic Mike actor paid tribute to his co-star, who died in December 2022 at age 40. His death was ruled a suicide. Channing gave a lengthy tribute and reflected on the bond they shared. He said: “I promised myself I wasn't going to cry,” Tatum began with teary eyes. “I do this because tWitch made me laugh all the time. But to say that it is an honor to sit up here and talk about that man is an understatement to say the least.” He continued: “I sat for a while, and I was like, ‘What am I going to tell them?’ Because lots of people here might've known tWitch much longer or more intimate than I did. I got to work with him, and I got to work with him for a good amount of time.” Channing Tatum added: “As I was just sitting here watching that video, and you just see his face and it all, you really need to see. He just was one of the most brilliant, bright . He just loved so

Twitch clarifies ‘visual bug’ issue amid RaKai’s recent suspension | The Express Tribune

Shortly after RaKai's 2-year ban was highlighted on social media, Twitch clarified that this is an isolated issue Twitch has clarified that the two-year suspension displayed on Quovonn Rakai Linder’s account was the result of a visual bug rather than the correct disciplinary duration. The creator, who has experienced multiple bans previously, initially posted an image of his desktop on X on December 3, 2025 showing a message claiming he had been banned for illegal activities, with the suspension listed as lasting 730 days. The notice also stated that ads would be unavailable to him once the ban ended and that the violation stemmed from a VOD. Shortly after the news was highlighted on social media, Twitch responded, claiming the matter was an isolated issue and said, “We are aware of a visual bug that caused the suspension length listed in this creator’s appeals portal to be incorrect.” It added that the issue did not affect other streamers and stated, “This isolated issue didn’t impact his email notification, and we’ve confirmed that the email the creator received did not include the correct suspension length. We’ve also clarified this with the creator directly.” As of now, Rakai has not publicly replied to Twitch’s remarks

Twitch has not confirmed what triggered the decision, though two incidents within 48 hours have come under scrutiny Content creator Quvonn Rakai Linder has been issued a two-year suspension from Twitch, marking the latest setback in what had been a rapid rise on the platform. The 17-year-old streamer, known online as RaKai, had amassed more than 1.8 million followers and regularly drew audiences in the thousands before the ban took effect. Twitch has not confirmed what triggered the decision, though two incidents within 48 hours have come under scrutiny. The first incident centred on a Fortnite wager with fellow streamer Clix. RaKai entered the challenge with a gifted 99-0 lead but still lost after failing to secure a single elimination. The agreed-upon wager required him to pay Clix $6,500, but he refused, telling him, “Guess who not getting they money? You, you ugly b***h. F**k you.” Moments later, RaKai’s stream went offline, and he later showed a warning on his account citing “Illegal Activities.” A second incident occurred the day before, when RaKai streamed himself taking flowers without paying and handing them to a bystander. When asked, “Did you already pay for them?” he replied, “Yes I did.” The situation drew

DFS explores comfort and performance through live gaming tournament – Furniture News

As part of its partnership with Shaquille O’Neal and the launch of its Soundwave recliner, DFS has extended its comfort expertise into gaming culture with a live Twitch activation featuring Andy Castell (AJ3), which aims to prove that comfort and performance go hand in hand. DFS wanted to uncover how UK gamers really use their set-ups, and what they value most in terms of comfort and performance. Partnering with psychologist Dr Daria Kuss and physiotherapist Alex Lee, DFS launched the UK Gaming Index, a nationwide survey of 1,000 gamers.  The results uncovered that: 83% say their current set-up is comfortable; 60% believe their set-up directly boosts their performance; one in three gamers want adjustable seating like a recliner in their dream set-up; and 73% experience some form of pain while gaming, from eye strain to back or neck discomfort. These findings informed the link between comfort, performance and wellbeing – insights that directly informed DFS’ live Twitch activation. To bring the UK Gaming Index to life, DFS launched the Gaming Thrones tournament, inviting gamers to submit applications for the chance to compete live against streamer AJ3 in the newly released EA Sports FC 26.
