So when he hit the magic number, all of AMP squad was there to celebrate with him; the vibe was too much. It’s being called history in the making, and honestly, that’s no misnomer. Opposite reactions came immediately following the news of his subs. Brazil’s Série A shifts broadcast strategy to digital with Creator Sports Network

29th September 2025 September 28 – Football’s global media landscape is a fluid beast, with new platforms and creators seemingly popping up on a weekly basis with the latest coming from Brazil. The country’s top flight, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, has sold its North American creator rights to the Creator Sports Network (CSN). Starting this season and running through 2026, CSN will stream one top match each week in English and Spanish, distributing it through the biggest platforms in the world, with YouTube and Twitch creators. It’s a clear shift from the traditional model. Where once fans had to rely on Paramount+ or niche outlets like the South American site, Fanatiz, they’ll now they’ll be able to connect with Série A through the personalities and communities they already follow online. Football, rugby, and extreme sports are all finding audiences by moving away from the old broadcast models and leaning into digital voices. CSN, though, is pushing further. Rather than banking on one or two star influencers, its technology allows creators to put their own spin on a match, from polished broadcasters to passionate upstarts. Surveys show that YouTube is already one of the main gateways for young Americans discovering

Emmett Shear Warns Against Over-Delegation in Tech Leadership – WebProNews

In the high-stakes world of technology leadership, where decisions can pivot multibillion-dollar companies, former Twitch CEO Emmett Shear has emerged as a voice of caution against the pitfalls of excessive delegation. Shear, who steered the live-streaming giant from its scrappy beginnings to a $970 million acquisition by Amazon in 2014, recently shared insights drawn from his tenure, emphasizing that true executive prowess lies not just in handing off tasks but in knowing when to retain control. According to a recent article in Business Insider, Shear reflected on a critical moment early in Twitch’s history when he nearly delegated a pivotal product decision that could have derailed the platform’s growth. That episode involved a proposed change to Twitch’s core streaming features, which Shear’s team advocated strongly. He chose to override their expertise, a move that proved prescient as it aligned better with user needs and market demands. This anecdote underscores a broader philosophy: CEOs must discern whether a decision is one that “we have to get right,” as Shear put it, rather than reflexively deferring to specialists. His brief stint as interim CEO of OpenAI in November 2023 further honed this view, where he navigated boardroom chaos amid Sam Altman’s ousting

You Can Now Rewind Twitch Live Streams, But There’s A Catch – GameSpot

GameSpot may receive revenue from affiliate and advertising partnerships for sharing this content and from purchases through links. If you've ever wanted to rewind a Twitch stream, that long-awaited feature is finally at hand. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has announced that pause and rewind options were added to the service this week, with some notable exceptions. Clancy made the announcement during a live-stream (via The Verge), and noted that it is currently limited to Twitch Turbo subscribers or for channels that users are individually subscribed to. However, it's not available on mobile yet. "It's a feature I've been looking forward to us getting out," said Clancy. "It keeps viewers connected as they pause or rewind. Chat continues to stay live, so you can see the hype and understand what's happening in the live stream. The idea is that you're still there, you can catch up and then you come back." Twitch streamers will also have to activate the rewind and pause options on their end, and that feature is limited to users who are affiliated or partnered with Twitch. Clancy indicated that the feature will eventually be added to mobile, and there will be a phased rollout to everyone on
