SHORT FILMS by Alex Billington May 29, 2023Source: Vimeo This is awesome!! Another excellent creation from the ingenious minds at the Swiss animation studio known as YK Animation, based in Bern. Mr. Pete & the Iron Horse is one of their latest short films - created and directed by Swiss animation filmmaker Kilian Vilim. This originally premiered in 2021 and played at many film festivals over the last two years - finally available online to watch. Stop what you're doing and click play below! The diligent soldier Mr. Pete does everything to meet the high standards of his baroness. To satisfy her insatiable lust for speed he shovels madly on her new iron horse. It's a parable about authoritarianism, mainly about soldiers and workers who fall in line and mindlessly work for their master. It's a nod to Nazis, but also about many things happening now around the world. The ending is just right. A must watch short. Thanks to Vimeo Staff Picks for the tip on this being available online. Brief intro from Vimeo: "The diligent soldier Mr. Pete does everything to meet the high standards of his baroness. To satisfy her insatiable lust for speed, he shovels madly

Quesada Cigars is celebrating fifteen years of the Casa Magna Colorado brand with a limited-edition Casa Magna XV Anniversary cigar debuting at PCA 2023, in Las Vegas.  Celebrating the milestone of their brand, Casa Magna brings a handcrafted limited-edition cigar to perfection in honor of the craftsmanship, passion, and dedication that have made Casa Magna cigars a favorite among cigar enthusiasts and fans of the brand.  “Raquel and I started working on this project with the factory team last summer. We knew since day one what we wanted but took us a while to figure it out. Sometimes a project comes to life as fast as the first blend thought in mind, and this was not the case.” Said Manolo Quesada. “We were looking for specific flavors, something richer and with a more complex taste but in the same Casa Magna blending style.” Said Raquel Quesada.  “Back in 2008 we came out with a cigar that set the standard for a full flavor cigar. This limited-edition cigar is a tribute of our commitment to find new avenues to pleasure. In blending differently the regions of Nicaragua with a new approach, we came up with a cigar that brings distinctive flavors and

The offspring of mother seal Kaʻiwi was born in mid-April. “After careful assessment, in close coordination with our state, county, and non-profit partners, we determined the best option for Pualani is to relocate her, especially given the risks of habituation in such a crowded area,” explained Kilali Ala’ilima Gibson, NOAA Fisheries O‘ahu Marine Wildlife Response Coordinator. Gibson added, “We want to extend a big mahalo to our incredible community and our valued partners for their efforts to protect our endangered Hawaiian monk seals on Kaimana beach. Together, we’ve created a safe nursery for mom and pup, and we look forward to the next phase of monitoring them as they transition out of their nursing phase and into independent seals.” All the agencies involved are currently making plans

Santana Cigars & Co. announces the release of the Santana 1997 Series. The Santana 1997 Series is composed of different three blends. Santana Cigars Co. made its debut as a company in January 2023. Owner of Santana Cigars, Andy Santana, felt it was the right time to release this series of cigars which have been years in the making. Santana Cigars made its debut this past January with the Santana San Andres. Andy Santana, who owns two cigar shops in Miami (Absolute Cigars) featured three house blends which were popular with his patrons. After years of tinkering with the blends Andy is ready to make them available nationally. The Santana Series features three distinct blends. The year 1997 is significant as it was the year in where Absolute Cigars Shop opened its doors. Santana 1997 San Andres: A San Andres wraps around a Sumatra binder and Corojo, Dominicano Criollo, and Pennsylvania filler. The cigar is medium in strength. Santana 1977 Habano: Boasting a Habano wrapper, this blend features an Indonesian binder with Habano, Corojo, and Criollo 98 filler. The cigar is medium-to-medium full-bodied. Santana 1997 Connecticut: Featuring a true Connecticut wrapper, this blend features am Indonesia binder which houses Corojo

Vimeo, Inc. (NASDAQ:VMEO), is not the largest company out there, but it received a lot of attention from a substantial price increase on the NASDAQGS over the last few months. With many analysts covering the stock, we may expect any price-sensitive announcements have already been factored into the stock’s share price. But what if there is still an opportunity to buy? Today I will analyse the most recent data on Vimeo’s outlook and valuation to see if the opportunity still exists. View our latest analysis for Vimeo Is Vimeo Still Cheap? Great news for investors – Vimeo is still trading at a fairly cheap price. According to my valuation, the intrinsic value for the stock is $6.51, which is above what the market is valuing the company at the moment. This indicates a potential opportunity to buy low. Although, there may be another chance to buy again in the future. This is because Vimeo’s beta (a measure of share price volatility) is high, meaning its price movements will be exaggerated relative to the rest of the market. If the market is bearish, the company's shares will likely fall by more than the rest of the market, providing a prime buying

Can you imagine being out on an elk hunt and seeing two big bulls getting dominated by a much smaller Whitetail Buck?It could happen. As a matter of fact, it did happen and it's really something to watch. You wouldn't think there would be much of a fight when it comes to putting a 250lb buck up against a bull elk that's maybe two or three times its size. You REALLY wouldn't think there would be much of a fight if you put a 250lb buck up against TWO bull elk that are both two or three times it's size, but it happened. The Buck, we're nicknaming him Bruiser, didn't back down from a fight and showed both of the bulls that you don't mess with the smaller kid in class. When I watched the video, I thought the elk were being a bully to the (smaller than them) buck, but after watching a little further, it seems the buck is quite charged up. The video shows that it was filmed in November, which is right in the prime of rut season for the deer. It's quite impressive to watch the buck charge after one elk, then turn his attention to the other.
