Review: Bunny Stream beats Vimeo Pro for 4 reasons-at least – ProVideo Coalition

Almost everyone I know who uses a pre-recorded video CDN for videos to be embedded in a website uses Vimeo Pro. I am talking about either public corporate videos, videos requiring client approval (password protected) or pay-per-view videos which shouldn’t be seen freely, but only behind a paywall. (This includes videos visible behind a paywall on a membership website, i.e. for courses.) Almost a year ago in January 2022, I published VideoPress vs Vimeo Pro/Vimeo Plus: a practical comparison for embedded video. Although VideoPress costs about half of Vimeo Pro, no one I know has switched from Vimeo Pro to VideoPress (other than my brief experiment for that review). However, I am certain that the 4 compelling features I am about to share with you will achieve that in the case of Bunny Stream. (I myself canceled my Vimeo Pro subscription after comparing) Only one of the 4 features is the pricing. Ahead, I’ll explain them.  SPOILER ALERT: One of the 4 features is a unique freedom with CC (closed captions) and their language listings. In this article A brief description about Bunny Stream Feature 1: Granularity with encoding Feature 2: Granularity with the player, and the closed captions Feature

(VIDEO) Removal of Obsolete Concrete Dam on South Fork Eel Tributary Opens Nine Miles …

Nine miles of wild fish habitat on a South Fork Eel River tributary, blocked for more than 60 years, is now accessible once again thanks to a fish passage restoration project recently completed by California Trout, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and partners. Cedar Creek provides a significant portion of the cold water that flows into the Eel River’s South Fork in the summer. With the removal of an 8-foot-high dam on the creek, migratory Chinook salmon, coho salmon, steelhead and Pacific lamprey will have improved access to the creek during all their life stages.  In fact, on Dec. 7, CalTrout staff observed adult Chinook salmon already spawning above the former dam’s location. These fish likely would not have been able to make it past the dam if it were still in place, given this fall’s low water levels. “The initiation and completion of this project is a testament to CDFW’s engineering and fisheries staff and their commitment to restoring California’s natural resources while creating long-lasting partnerships with private landowners such as the Yangshe Gomde Buddhist Retreat Center and restoration groups such as CalTrout,” said Scott Monday, Environmental Scientist with CDFW’s North Coast Watershed Improvement Center in Fortuna who has worked

Vimeo Inc. (VMEO): Ready for an explosive trading day – Invest Chronicle

Let’s start up with the current stock price of Vimeo Inc. (VMEO), which is $3.38 to be very precise. The Stock rose vividly during the last session to $3.60 after opening rate of $3.60 while the lowest price it went was recorded $3.365 before closing at $3.61. Vimeo Inc. had a pretty Dodgy run when it comes to the market performance. The 1-year high price for the company’s stock is recorded $18.37 on 01/03/22, with the lowest value was $3.29 for the same time period, recorded on 12/20/22. 5 Undervalued Stocks For 2023 Approximately 544 miles north of Las Vegas lies what's been dubbed "the biggest lithium deposit in the US." One tiny company stands to be the biggest beneficiary because lithium "faces a long-term supply shortage," according to Barron's. This company, however, is sitting on a goldmine opportunity as it plans to produce 30,000 tonnes per annum over the next 3.5 years from this single deposit. Supplying the electric vehicle boom and potentially driving its stock price off the charts. But this is just one of the opportunities we have researched in our free report. The other four companies have just as much potential. Click here to download your

VIDEO: A Small Canadian Town's Struggle With Polar Bears – Unofficial Networks

“Each year, tourists flock to Churchill, Manitoba, to witness polar bears in the wild during their annual migration. As bears become habituated to humans, they pose a greater danger to people and to themselves. The town of Churchill has a wildlife-management program to keep nuisance bears away.” When I clicked on The New Yorker‘s Nuisance Bear, I was expecting a decently lengthy documentary with somewhat exciting, somewhat boring narration about the bear problem in Churchill, Manitoba. Instead, I got 14 minutes of gorgeous shots telling the story of a small town’s struggle with tourists and bears, and absolutely no narration or music. Somehow, with little to no context, we’re able to learn quite a lot about this Canadian town. Though I understand why polar bears have to be removed from populated towns, I found myself feeling bad for the bear, seeing the wildlife-management’s truck as a sort of mechanic monster and the camera-covered tourists as a sick and twisted crowd, only there to watch the bear fail. In short, this was an incredibly enjoyable and somewhat peaceful film. Give it a watch, it’s wicked cool! Image Credit: NewYorker via Vimeo

Thousands of Leaves Transition from Summer to Fall in a Hypnotic Stop-Motion Short

Animation Photography #Brett Foxwell #leaves #nature #stop motion #video Bay Area-animator Brett Foxwell is drawn to the vast array of colors and textures within the natural world. His 2017 short film “WoodSwimmer” zeroed in on the unique grain of cross-cut trees, and his latest project similarly centers on organic diversity by highlighting thousands of leaves as they change from their summer to autumn hues. In the mesmerizing stop-motion short, rapid flashes of foliage dance on the black backdrop and illuminate the unique bent of a stem, variances in veins, and the way verdant pigments drain from each specimen in inconsistent patterns. “While collecting leaves, I conceived that the leaf shape of every single plant type I could find would fit somewhere into a continuous animated sequence of leaves if that sequence were expansive enough. If I didn’t have the perfect shape, it meant I just had to collect more leaves,” he shares about the project. “The Book of Leaves” accompanies Foxwell’s larger project “Leaf Presser,” a trippier animation of the same nature, which you can find along with his other works on Vimeo. (via The Kids Should See This) #Brett Foxwell #leaves #nature #stop motion #video Do stories and artists like this matter
