The app uses data to give users personalized, curated itineraries, making tourism feel more spontaneous. The travel app is the latest venture from Matthew Rosenberg, Mark Armendariz, and Mark Essel. Rosenberg previously cofounded Cameo, a video-creation app (not the celebrity video app) bought by Vimeo in 2014. Japanese woodblocks inspire new artworks  Modernismé, an exhibit featuring Tesa Celdran’s first collection of mixed media/collage paintings, opens on Sept. 26, at the Secret Fresh Gallery. Modernismé takes the traditional subject matter of ukiyoe — Japanese woodblock prints from the late 19th century – and combined these with the modern techniques of mixed media/collage. Celdran’s first mixed media/collage pieces were part of the Manila Biennale art auction in 2018. In 2020, she did the same for La Collina’s artisan market.
