According to a report by WABetaInfo, the Facebook-owned messaging platform has rolled out a new beta update for Apple iOS users that comes with the ability to convert images into stickers. The new feature eliminates the need for third-party applications to create stickers, reports WABetaInfo. After extracting a subject out of an image, users just need to paste it within a chat to create a custom sticker from an image. If the feature is available, the platform will instantly turn the image into a sticker that can be added to the user's collection of stickers. Pakyong, 27 Feb: An AI-based chatbot called ChatGPT can have natural and human-like conversations with people. The chatbot may now be integrated with WhatsApp, unquestionably the most widely used messaging service in the world, thanks to a recent update. Developer Daniel Gross built this integration by utilizing Java Script to enable ChatGPT to respond to WhatsApp messages. To carry out this WhatsApp-ChatGPT connection, Gross has shared the files and posted all the necessary information. A language library must be downloaded by the user. New Delhi: Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a new feature, which will allow users to keep messages from disappearing on iOS and Android beta. This feature is rolled out to some beta testers after installing the latest beta version of the application from the Play Store and the TestFlight app, reports WABetaInfo. With the new feature, beta testers can now prevent the expiration of certain disappearing messages by using the "Keep" option. Kept messages are marked with a bookmark icon within the chat bubble and they are also listed within the "kept messages" section. Moreover, users in the conversation will still be able to control this feature. Users can unkeep messages in the chat by using the "unkeep" option, however, the group admins might be the only people with the ability to keep a message from disappearing if they have restricted who can edit the group info. The ability to keep messages from disappearing is currently available to some beta testers, and is expected to roll out to even more users over the coming days, the report said.

New Delhi: Meta-owned WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature called "schedule group calls", which may bring in a future update to Android and iOS users. According to WABetaInfo, the feature is under development, so it is not ready to be released to beta testers. The feature will make it easier for users to plan a call with other members of the group. The feature will include a new context menu that introduces a scheduling option when the feature is enabled for users' accounts in the future, according to the report. An updated WhatsApp beta for iPhone has added the ability to schedule a group call. When a call is scheduled, everyone who is part of the WhatsApp group chat will be notified once it actually starts. In its current form, the beta feature allows people to edit the name of the call, allowing them to give it something meaningful so that all people joining are aware of its purpose. ChatGPT can reply to messages on WhatsAppThe new ChatGPT patch on WhatsApp comes courtesy of developer Daniel Gross who has rolled out a new Java Script that enables users to use the AI-powered chatbot to reply to WhatsApp messages. This unofficial integration utilises ChatGPT’s conversational skills and precise information delivery abilities to reply to text messages in a human-like fashion.  To do this, one would be required to download a language library from a webpage that contains the necessary files. Once done, users are required to open the “WhatsApp-gpt-main” file and execute the “server.py” document. This initialises the ChatGPT setup on WhatsApp. With the server running, one is required to type in “Is” hit enter and then select “python server.py”. This sets up the account’s registered phone number on the OpenAI chat page. Then, the user is required to proceed by clicking on the “Confirm I am a human” box to verify. OpenAI ChatGPT can then be found on the linked WhatsApp account.  The above process of integration has not been tested by 91Mobiles and hence we cannot confirm the security aspects of such a modification.
