WhatsApp Update! Users will soon be able to set profile cover photos – Check Details – DNA India

It will be similar to the feature available on Meta (previously known as Facebook).  As of now, WhatsApp only allows its users to set their profile photos, status and about them.  However, this new feature when introduced will only be available to Business accounts. According to a report by WABetaInfo, "WhatsApp is now working on another feature for WhatsApp Business accounts: the ability to set a cover photo, available in a future update!" The feature is under development and as per media reports, the WhatsApp Business App will see changes when the feature is introduced.  Users will likely get an additional camera settings option in theirBusiness accounts. They can use the new camera button to set their cover photo for their account. WhatsApp reportedly working on 'Community' feature – Siasat.com

San Francisco: Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is reportedly working towards releasing the ‘Community’ feature in a future update. According to WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo, Community is a private place where group admins will have more control over some groups on WhatsApp. The report said that WhatsApp Community is like a group chat and group admins are able to link other groups in the Community. WABetaInfo in December said that WhatsApp Community has a name and a description, exactly like a common group chat. After typing the name and the community description, the user will be able to choose to link up to 10 groups in the community. A lady identified as Sonia Glows, a critic of fraudulent schemes, has defrauded several contacts via WhatsApp. In late January, she posted a N3 million giveaway opportunity on her status. To qualify, people only needed to send any amount less than a million naira to her ‘sister’, send proof of their debits and their account numbers to her and expect to receive double the amount. This sister, according to Glows, was Favour Ndukwe, whose Zenith Bank account, with account number 2119878330, was used to receive the sums. WhatsApp has evolved from being merely a messaging and talking app to a full-fledged communication service. WhatsApp latest update: Meta-owned popular messaging platform WhatsApp has picked up a number of features and improvements over the past few months to provide better service to the users. Now, the messaging application is reportedly working on some new features, including tweaking the built-in camera and a redesigned caption view, for iOS users. "With the latest betas, the app is tweaking the built-in camera, as well as revamping other functions, reports 9To5Mac. The driver of a train which crashed at three times the speed limit was using WhatsApp seconds before it derailed. Phillip Hollis tried to argue that he was distracted by dropped bag and bottle of Lucozade but analysis of his phone found it had been used 26 seconds before the crash. Hollis, of Spellow Lane, Liverpool, was driving a Merseyrail service from Liverpool Central to Kirkby on March 13 last year when it derailed after crashing at speed. After Hollis, 56, pleaded guilty to endangering the safety of passengers at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on 8 February, a detective warned that it was only through “sheer luck” that no-one was killed.
