We stand in solidarity with the Venezuelan and Caribbean peoples, who for months have been suffering under US harassment through illegal military aggression and war crimes, including extrajudicial killings. This attack on Venezuela is also an attack on all of Latin America and the Caribbean. After witnessing the burial of the international legal system in Gaza, we are now witnessing the “might makes right” era, as Palestinian civil society had forewarned. International leaders, such as Gustavo Petro, President of Colombia, Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, and Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, warned in July 2025: “The choice is stark: Either we act together to enforce international law or we risk its collapse. We choose to act, not only for the people of Gaza but for the future of a world where justice prevails over impunity.” The US imperialist aggression against peoples of the Global South is nothing new, of course, from

This has been true more or less since Elon Musk took it over, but this problem's latest and most repellent efflorescence is the result of one of Musk's signature additions as owner. Grok, the network's embedded AI chatbot, will—or would, as recently as yesterday, and certainly did many, many times—generate graphically sexualized images of real people, including minors and non-consenting third parties, in response to any user's request. Another Twitter feature bearing Elon Musk's fingerprints is that the site filled with the kind of people who, when a photograph of a 14-year-old TV actress appears on their timeline, will ask Grok to generate an image of her without clothes on. As a result, for much of this week Twitter has been rife with AI-generated revenge porn, deepfake celebrity porn, and CSAM. This makes a hideous counterpoint to the national media's recent fascination with the Jeffrey Epstein

Nevertheless, this game was electric from start to finish. Georgia led 21-12 at the break, before finding itself down 34-24 with under 10 minutes to play, before tying it up with a minute to play, before a last-second field goal. We had fake punts, deep balls, fumble-sixes, enormous hits, diving catches and so much more as Pete Golding and Ole Miss earned its spot in its first CFP semifinals. Chambliss had a the performance of a lifetime, throwing for 362 yards and two touchdowns, and honestly that stat line doesn't even do justice to explaining just how amazing he was.
