GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — A mobile home flipped over while being hauled on a freeway ramp, causing a headache for some commuters in the Goodyear area on Tuesday. ADOT shared these images on X, formerly known as Twitter on Tuesday. (Arizona's Family) The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the crash occurred around 8:50 a.m. on the southbound Loop 303 transition ramp onto the westbound Interstate 10. Photos shared by troopers at the scene showed the ramp blocked by the prefab building, causing the ramp to be partially inaccessible for about two hours. The Denver Broncos finally came up with a 53-man roster! As there is with anything, there were some expected notable cuts (running back Audric Estime and cornerback Damarri Mathis), and there were also some early surprises, such as Denver parting ways with do-it-all wide receiver Courtney Jackson and training camp standout Levelle Bailey. Karene Reid was the only undrafted free agent to make the 53-man roster, making it 21 out of the last 22 years the Broncos have brought undrafted talent onto the roster. Fans waiting to see the initial squad had to wait more than an hour past the 2 p.m. deadline to learn that quarterback Sam Ehlinger was the final cut. Elon Musk's X social media platform, formerly Twitter, has reportedly reached a tentative settlement in a $500 million class-action lawsuit over severance pay, the New York Times reports. The suit stems from when Musk took over Twitter in 2022; he cut more than 80% of the staff (around 6,000 employees). Many laid-off employees sued, claiming they were owed severance. Now, almost three years after the firings, X Corp has settled, though the terms have not been disclosed. Fox Business reports that, in the lawsuit, the laid-off employees claim a company severance plan from 2019 stated that cut workers receive two months' base salary — and a week for every year served. The lawsuit says that some workers affected by the layoffs received only one month of severance pay, while others did not receive anything, per the filing. Social media firm X and its owner Elon Musk have reached a settlement with some of its former employees who had sued for $500m (£373m) in severance pay. Details of the agreement are not yet public and will require the approval of the courts. In addition to the group action, there are more than 2,000 individual arbitration cases over unpaid severance stemming from Musk’s takeover of Twitter (now called X) in November 2022, after the billionaire dismissed more than 6,000 people, over half of the company’s workforce. “The parties have reached a settlement agreement in principle and began negotiating the terms of a long-form settlement agreement,” according to court documents filed by both sides. The lawsuit, led by former Twitter employee Courtney McMillian, claimed that about 6,000 people were wrongly denied benefits under the company’s severance plan. The firm had failed to provide payments as high as six months’ worth of salaries, among other terms, stated the claim.
