YouTube to host Fifa and broadcaster content Up to ten minutes of all matches can be live streamed TikTok signed similar deal in January Fifa and YouTube have signed a ‘preferred platform’ agreement for the upcoming 2026 Fifa World Cup in North America. The deal permits Fifa’s broadcast partners to post extended highlights, behind-the-scenes footage and other content to the Google-owned video sharing platform. For the first time, broadcasters will also be able to live stream the first ten minutes of each game and will be allowed to stream selected matches in their entirety. Fifa will also expand its first-party presence on YouTube, adding archive content such as full-length past matches and iconic clips from past tournaments.
