Manuel Singh was abroad when he received a Facebook message saying that his 26-year-old son, Irving, was on his way to hospital. Irving had just left the Meadows Music Festival in Fergus on May 30. He was on his way to his vehicle when he was stuck by a passing pick-up truck . The driver did not stop. Singh was a guest on The Mike Farwell Show , where he described what they had learned about what happened to his son that night. “He (Irving), decided to beat the traffic and walk to his car. A witness that we spoke to said there was a pick-up truck going in and out of the lane, and he was hit. And he (the witness) just saw Irving flying through the air and landing on the ground. And he said, ‘Mr. Singh, if I didn’t see Irving, he would have fallen in that ditch.’” The witness went on to tell Singh that Irving may have lain in the ditch overnight, and who knows what the outcome would have been.
