Competing in front of a packed-out Frances Smith Practice Facility at Coleman Coliseum, the Ghosts edged out the Goblins via a sudden death stick-off to claim the victory. The annual event gave the Crimson Tide its first chance to compete in front of a crowd this season, while fans got their first look at Alabama’s talented freshmen class and a preview of what the returnees are working on for the upcoming year. The Ghosts were led by super-senior duo Ella Burgess and Makarri Doggette, as Shania Adams, Gabby Ladanyi, Lillian Lewis, Jordyn Paradise, Natalia Pawlak and Rachel Rybicki rounded out the squad. Super senior Mati Waligora led the Goblins, competing alongside Corinne Bunagan, Karis German, Gabby Gladieux, Lilly Hudson, Chloe LaCoursiere, Cameron Machado, Isabella Martin and Jamison Sears. Graduate student Luisa Blanco is currently with the Colombian National Team in Santiago, Chile, and missed Alabama’s intrasquad.
