Thursday, October 8, 2026 1:02AM HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A Harris County man faces a felony charge after deputies say he pretended to be a woman on Snapchat to get a sexual video from another man and then shared it with others. Tyler Burrel, 18, of Cypress, was arrested earlier in the week at the University of Houston, where Harris County Precinct 5 constable deputies said he is a student. He was charged with unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material, according to deputies. According to records, Burrel began talking to the 18-year-old victim months ago on Snapchat. He pretended to be a woman and received a sexual video from the man, records show. Investigators said he recorded the video and shared it with people during a FaceTime call. During Burrel’s court hearing, the judge described how that affected the victim. “A third party was able to access that video, causing embarrassment to the complaining witness.
