Hi Credit, an online loan company, has been sending unsolicited messages to Nigerians and invading their privacy. Tunde Azeez, a Lagos resident, told FIJ that he received a WhatsApp message from Hi Credit on Saturday morning, despite never Google searching its name at any point or attempting to obtain a loan. According to Azeez, this is the first time he would get such a message, although in the past week, he had received calls from two different companies asking him to take a loan from them.
