Iron Maiden start Belshazzar's Feast video countdown

The heavy metal legends have been teasing an announcement on Thursday 15th July ever since mysterious Belshazzar’s Feast posters started appearing at Download Pilot festival last month. Iron Maiden’s newly posted countdown video now confirms that the reveal will happen at 6pm UK time on Thursday. Sharing a link to the video, Iron Maiden wrote: “Thursday 15/07 – You are invited to Belshazzar’s Feast.”Towards the end of the video, Eddie the Head’s claw tears down the Belshazzar’s Feast poster to reveal the letters WOTW on the wall. Eddie then spray paints a letter T at the start – TWOTW. It’s still unclear whether fans will be treated to a new Iron Maiden song, details of a new album or some other big announcement.
