FX is locking down serious star power for its upcoming adaptation of the blockbuster video game franchise. Emmy nominee Lizzy Caplan has officially joined the cast of FX’s highly anticipated Far Cry television series, Variety reports. A Powerhouse Creative Team First announced in late 2025, the series is being spearheaded by a formidable creative duo. Noah Hawley (FX’s Fargo and Alien: Earth) is executive producing via 26 Keys. Hawley is joined by Rob Mac (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), who co-created the series and will star. He will also executive produce under More Better Productions. Mirroring the format of the hit Ubisoft video games, the series will debut as an anthology. It will completely reset cast, setting, and storyline each season. While exact plot details and Caplan’s character are being kept strictly under wraps, fans can expect the franchise’s trademark blend of chaotic survival, lawless frontiers, and larger-than-life villains.
