(ABC 6 News) – Viroqua, WI police are searching for a Canton, MN man who led officers on a high speed chase on Friday. Viroqua police were called to a parking lot in the city for a man with a warrant. When they arrived on scene, the suspect and a male passenger got into their vehicle and started to speed away, nearly hitting one of the officers. The passenger, Jesse Devlaeminck from Rochester, exited the vehicle on the north side of Viroqua and was taken into custody on multiple warrants after a short search. The driver, identified as Nathan Gossman from Canton, led officers on a high speed pursuit until his vehicle left the road near Retreat. Suspect Nathan Gossman, courtesy of Viroqua Police Department A Vernon County K9, the LaFarge Drone Team, Vernon County Emergency Management and law enforcement officers searched the Retreat area for several hours, but were unable to locate the suspect. Nathan Gossman is still at large. Both subjects have lengthy history of burglary, thefts and fleeing.
