Let’s rewind. For those who don’t know, MrBeast announced earlier in November 2020 that he would be creating a YouTube Rewind 2020. This comes days after Youtube announced that they would not be creating a YouTube Rewind this year, citing that “2020 has been different. And it doesn’t feel right to carry on as if it weren’t.” (YouTube Rewind is an annual tradition that was started in 2010 and looks at the “year’s most impactful creators, videos, and trends”.) Many fans were disappointed with YouTube’s decision but looked forward to MrBeast’s version.
