Patriots Fall to Lady Chaps on Pink Out Night – University of Texas at Tyler Athletics

TYLER, TEXAS – UT Tyler volleyball moved to 9-8 on the year and 5-2 in LSC play after falling 3-0 to Lubbock Christian on Friday night inside the HPC.   The two teams went back and forth over a tight first set that featured 20 total ties and 66 total points. The Patriots rallied early with a 5-1 run that featured kills from Alyson Robbins , Kota Hartman , and Jackie Velzis , but the Lady Chaps rallied back to tie the match at 11-11.   Late in the set, it was a 3-0 run that featured an error and kills from Hartman and Audrey Brandon to make it 24-20, but the Lady Chaps again rallied as they forced the set into extra points with a 4-0 run.
