Shields named G-MAC South Athlete of the Week

Cedarville University Yellow Jackets Main Events Results Sport G-MAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK   CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cassi Shields has been selected the G-MAC South Division Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week.   A 5-foot-11 outside hitter from Westminster, Maryland, Shields pounded a team-high 16 kills to lead Cedarville to a five-set upset of AVCA Division II No. 21 Findlay.   She added seven blocks and a career-high 17 digs for the Lady Jackets, 11-2 overall and 5-0 G-MAC.   CU puts its eight-match winning streak on the line on Thursday with a home contest vs. Thomas More.
