Chancellor Don Elliman delivered his annual State of the Campus Address on Oct. 19 to an in-person audience for the first time since 2019. Faculty, staff and students gathered in the Anschutz Health Sciences Building – and hundreds tuned in online – for this year’s presentation, which highlighted inspiring stories of colleagues and peers making advances in all areas of our mission. “This year, I want to take an opportunity to tell a different story: your story,” Elliman said. “I’d like to shine a spotlight on you and share some of the thousands of stories of creativity, healing and service that only happen at CU Anschutz.” Highlights included faculty advancements in brain health, personalized medicine and bioinformatics, novel therapeutics and climate medicine.
