EASTFORD, Conn — Connecticut State Police arrested a Woodstock man Sunday who allegedly shot and robbed a person during a Snapchat meetup in Eastford. King Michael Adoty, 19, of Woodstock, is facing charges of assault in the first degree, robbery in the first degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree, larceny in the sixth degree, carrying a pistol without a permit and illegal possession of a large capacity magazine. At 8:50 p.m. Saturday, state police from Troop D said they received a 911 call from a man reporting that he was shot and robbed in Eastford. Troopers, along with the Eastford Fire Department, found him with a gunshot wound to the leg. Emergency medical crews then provided aid before bringing him to the hospital.
