By: Contact: Hannah Hirst; Assistant Athletic Communication Director PITMAN, N.J. — The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) announced its 2025-26 Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll on Thursday, Nov. 7, with New Jersey City University (NJCU) selected seventh overall, earning one first-place vote. The Gothic Knights are coming off a 10-14 overall record and 9-9 mark in NJAC play during the 2024-25 campaign, which saw them finish sixth in the conference standings. The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) topped this year’s poll with six first-place votes after falling to Montclair State, 72-63, in last season’s NJAC Championship game. Montclair State followed in second with three first-place votes, while Rowan claimed the third spot. The remainder of the top six included William Paterson, Stockton, and Rutgers-Camden. Kean, Ramapo, and Rutgers-Newark rounded out the voting. Rutgers-Camden was also tabbed as the conference’s “dark horse” selection for the upcoming season. NJCU will look to build on last season’s progress behind returners Autumn John (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) and Na’tori Postell (Passaic, N.J./Passaic Arts & Science Charter), both key contributors to the team’s success in 2024-25. The Gothic Knights also add Division I transfer Meghan Gentile (Roseland, N.J./Immaculate Conception) from Eastern Michigan University, who appeared in seven games
