Young Muncie man convicted of murder, robbery in teen’s shooting death – The Star Press

Aug. 18, 2026, 5:41 p.m. ET MUNCIE, IN — A Delaware Circuit Court 5 jury on Tuesday, Aug. 18, found a Muncie teenager guilty of four charges stemming from another youth’s shooting death. Robert “Tre” Graham III, 19, was charged with felony murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, conspiracy to commit robbery and obstruction of justice. Judge Thomas Cannon Jr. set sentencing for Sept. 25. While the felony murder charge alleged that Graham took part in the events leading to the August 2024 slaying of 15-year-old Latajohne Phillips, prosecutors Zach Craig and Michael Bozoian said during their closing statements on Tuesday that they believed Graham had fired the gunshot that killed the victim.
