LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Softball team, who will be the No. 15 seed in the 2026 Southeastern Conference Tournament will open its tournament run on Tuesday afternoon against No. 10 Mississippi State at John Cropp Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET. Kentucky and Mississippi State did not face one another in the regular season. The last time the two sides played was in 2025 when Mississippi State took two out of three from Kentucky in Lexington by winning games one and three. Mississippi State finished the 2026 season with an overall record of 37-17 record and 9-15 in the SEC. SEC Network and the ESPN app will have the television broadcast of Tuesday afternoon’s game. Tickets for the game between the Wildcats and Bulldogs can be purchased at UKathletics.com/tickets as well as tickets for the entire SEC Tournament running through Saturday, May 9.
