(Kent County Sheriff’ Office/WWMT) GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Investigators with Homeland Security (HSI) have discovered a former West Michigan orthodontist had been producing and selling child pornography on an online network. Thomas Shannon, 43, is facing federal charges related to child pornography and sexual exploitation after being arrested in Frankfort earlier this month, according to the U.S. Department of Justice Western District of Michigan. Shannon was identified as the victim’s perpetrator through Snapchat and CashApp records, investigators said.
