Louisiana Man Pleads Guilty in Rochester Sextortion Case – KROC-AM News

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) – A Louisiana man has pleaded guilty in a sextortion case involving a young Rochester girl. Arrest Warrant Issued For Louisiana Teenager in March According to Olmsted County court records, an arrest warrant was issued for 18-year-old Devin Luke Romero on March 12. He was brought to Minnesota about two weeks later to face charges of use of minors in pornographic work, possession of child pornography, and two counts of soliciting a child to engage in a sexual act. He has remained in the Olmsted County jail since then, with bail set at $100,000. Accused of Coercing Young Child to Send Him Explicit Photos The criminal complaint states that Rochester police were told Romero allegedly initiated an online conversation with the child through Snapchat and demanded that she send him sexually explicit photos of herself. He was also accused of threatening to leak her address on Discord after she initially refused his demand.
