Balloon Release For Michael Jones – Everton Football Club

Club Ambassador Ian Snodin joined family and friends of Michael Jones at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon for a balloon release celebrating his life. Michael, 26, died earlier this month at the site of our new stadium and his parents, Mick and Elaine, released the first of dozens of blue balloons in the Park End. More than 100 people were in attendance, including Michael’s sisters Gemma, Katie, and Terri, and his girlfriend Hannah. “It was a wonderful turn out for Michael, but I expected nothing less,” said Snodin. “It’s an incredibly tough time for his family and all we can do is be here for them and hope that things like this offer them a bit of comfort.”
