Battling Blues Earn Spurs Point – Everton Football Club

A spirited Everton came from behind to earn a well-earned point as the Blues drew 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur. It had been a dominant opening month for the hosts who were the Women’s Super League top scorers heading into this weekend. However, that dominance was non-existent on Sunday, the visitors level of performance a key factor in reducing that control. Grace Clinton nodded the hosts ahead late into the first half, but a spot kick superbly finished by Aurora Galli gave the travelling Blues something to celebrate on their journey back up the road.  Brian Sorensen made two changes from the side that started against Manchester United.
