EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a summary of crime reports taken from the Greeley Police Department’s daily logs. Only a few of the hundreds of reports will be used in this weekly column because of space limitations. March 6 1:30 p.m.: A caller reported getting hit by a large snowball while driving near the intersection of 8th Avenue and 17th Street. 4:15 p.m.: A caller reported a tow truck driver threatened to beat the caller up after they got into an argument. March 7 10:15 a.m.: A caller reported a customer was trying to open an account with a fake ID and a fake social security card. 9:30 p.m.: A caller reported he loaned someone $50 and he still hadn’t been paid back even though he was supposed to get his money back by March 6. March 8 8 a.m.: A caller suspected their ex-partner hacked into the caller’s email account and took all their password information. 9:20 a.m.: A caller reported someone broke into their car but didn’t take anything. 12 p.m.: A caller reported a driver crashed into a retaining wall on their property. The driver left behind their license plate and other car parts. March 9 11:30
