Burning Love: Woman Allegedly Pours Boiling Water Over Sleeping Boyfriend, Posts It On Snapchat

A 22-year-old Illinois woman is currently being held on $500,000 bond for allegedly pouring a pot of boiling water on her boyfriend while he was asleep on the couch in their shared apartment, according to a statement from local officials.  Even more disturbingly, Alexis Sykes reportedly took the opportunity to record the entire assault, which took place on January 2, then share it on Snapchat for all to view.
