After Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the company's new name "Meta" to reflect its metaverse ambitions, the world reacted quickly.Not much after the announcement, the shares of a Canadian materials tech company called Meta Materials went up. This is more common than you'd think. When the pandemic drove mass adoption of video call app Zoom, the shares of totally unrelated Zoom Technologies went up in 2019. A similar thing happened to Signal Advance when the privacy concerns surrounding WhatsApp drove people to use Signal, a safer application. (LEX 18) — A man was taken to the hospital after his truck flipped on Old Clubhouse Lane at Keeneland early Wednesday morning. We’re at Keeneland where we’ve learned a man was taken to the hospital after his truck flipped and he was thrown out and pinned. When officials arrived on scene, the man was under the vehicle, potentially a Ford Ranger, but the man was alert as they figured out the logistics of getting him out from beneath the vehicle.
