OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One man was arrested after Omaha Police served a search warrant at the Los Diablos motorcycle clubhouse on Wednesday as part of a shooting investigation. Richard Poff, 68, was found living in a camper on the property located at 2501 Ames Ave. Poff was booked for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and additional charges are pending, per OPD. Following the search warrant, code inspectors examined the property and found numerous violations, and the club was shut down. The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing. Aug. 18, 2026, 5:41 p.m. ET MUNCIE, IN — A Delaware Circuit Court 5 jury on Tuesday, Aug. 18, found a Muncie teenager guilty of four charges stemming from another youth's shooting death. Robert "Tre" Graham III, 19, was charged with felony murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, conspiracy to commit robbery and obstruction of justice. Judge Thomas Cannon Jr. set sentencing for Sept. 25. While the felony murder charge alleged that Graham took part in the events leading to the August 2024 slaying of 15-year-old Latajohne Phillips, prosecutors Zach Craig and Michael Bozoian said during their closing statements on Tuesday that they believed Graham had fired the gunshot that killed the victim.  » Read More

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed second baseman Ketel Marte on the restricted list Monday night after he did not show up at Fenway Park for the team’s series ​opener at the Boston Red Sox. According to the Arizona ‌Republic, Marte traveled with the team from Atlanta, the site of their previous series, to Boston. But the three-time All-Star did not arrive at the park as expected on Monday. That caused the Diamondbacks to delay releasing their starting ‌lineup ​till mere minutes before first pitch. Tarik Skubal of the Los Angeles Dodgers is still getting used to his new team. After being traded at the deadline, Skubal is experiencing a first in his big-league career: a change of scenery. Skubal had spent his entire professional career with Detroit, who drafted him in the ninth round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He's now getting accustomed to his new digs, and has been impressed with how the Dodgers do things. Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported that Skubal was "blown away" by the clubhouse and amenities that the team has to offer its players. "I can’t believe how big that is," Skubal said. "I went to look for the hot tub, and wound up in the batting cage."
