Augusta National-branded coffee? The club has something brewing – GOLF.com

Augusta National always has something brewing, and this time it might be coffee. At least that’s what recent trademark filings suggest.   The world’s most famous golf club does not comment publicly on its business operations, but those boundaries get erased whenever ANGC looks to commercialize its offerings (i.e., earn more revenue during Masters week). To protect its exclusivity, Augusta National, Inc. files trademarks with the U.S. government, for anything from the green jacket to the phrase “A Tradition Unlike Any Other.” It’s in those filings that we get a tiny window into the club’s next frontier. Right now, that includes Augusta National coffee.  In June 2023, the club filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for “Clubhouse Select” under the category of “Coffee, ground coffee, and coffee sold in single-serve containers for use in brewing machines.” That sounds a lot like an Augusta National-brewed cup o’ joe — possibly one that slips into a Keurig — even if it hasn’t quite become a reality yet. IN PICTURES: Laois GAA Club shares vision for new clubhouse – Leinster Express

TAP NEXT OR ARROWS TO SEE MORE PICTURES Rosenallis GAA Club has taken a major step forward in their ambitious development plans, with confirmation that they’ve now received formal approval to begin construction on their long-awaited new clubhouse. The club, which lodged a planning application with Laois County Council in April 2023, was granted conditional approval in June of that year. After extensive fundraising efforts and meticulous preparation behind the scenes, the green light has now been given to move ahead with the build. A commencement notice will be lodged with the council shortly, and work on-site is expected to begin before the end of July. The new facility will include dressing rooms, meeting rooms, toilets, and a range of ancillary services designed to serve the growing needs of players, coaches, and the local community. “This would not be possible without the hard work of our committee and the very generous support of our local community and surrounding villages,” the club said in a post on social media. They also shared a selection of design visuals showing what the completed clubhouse is expected to look like,  » Read More

Inside the Sea Dogs’ New $10 Million Clubhouse | 1019por.com

The Portland Sea Dogs opened a new clubhouse on June 17, 2025. The clubhouse replaced the team’s former facility and helped the team stay in compliance with new league regulations. Inside, the facility includes two floors of new spaces for the team. On the second floor are two batting cages, storage, a media room, an umpire room, and a grounds crew room. Downstairs hosts the locker room, coach and manager offices, a weight room, and opens directly to the expanded home bullpen. Players and staff have “all raved about , they’re all really appreciative,” said Portland Sea Dogs President Geoff Iacuessa. Opponents of the new facility included Maura Pillsbury, a tax analyst at the Maine Center for Economic Policy. “With so many other unmet needs in our state, Maine taxpayer dollars should not be used to subsidize a privately owned sports management company,” said Pillsbury. The $10 million upgrade was funded by Diamond Baseball Holdings, the owner of the Portland Sea Dogs. A $2 million tax break will be given to the team by the State of Maine,  » Read More
