BURLINGTON, Vt. – Army's JJ Cataldo earned his second shutout in his last three starts making 22 saves in a 3-0 win over Vermont in non-conference action from Gutterson Fieldhouse Saturday night. Army's Vincent Salice opened the scoring with 57 seconds left in the second period on a breakaway. Jack Ivey forced a turnover and fed it up to Salice who had a step on the UVM defense. Dioubate, Lowe Lead Second-Half Comeback as Cats Top Hoosiers – UK Athletics

Mo Dioubate came off the bench to score 14 points and grab 12 rebounds as Kentucky rallied past Indiana 72-60 on Saturday night at Rupp Arena. Jaland Lowe, who also came off the bench, had 13 points for the Cats, while Otega Oweh added 10. The Cats forced 18 IU turnovers and scored 23 points off of those miscues. UK turned the ball over just four times, leading to just six IU points. Kentucky (7-4) got on the board first via a Trent Noah fast-break layup. Police arrest suspect after hours of negotiation, Facebook livestream in Warren home

Local News Police said they found a man dead inside of the house WARREN, Mich. – A suspect has been taken into custody after an hours-long standoff with police in Warren on Friday. The suspect was live-streaming on Facebook in the lead-up to the surrender. Just after 5 a.m. on Dec. 12, 2025, Warren police received a call from a person who knew the suspect, claiming the suspect was inside a home in the 7000 block of Westminster Avenue and had killed a person. The caller said the suspect told them on a FaceTime call, where the caller saw a man lying on the ground covered in blood. Minutes later, the police arrive to find a man dead inside the house. The suspect was moving inside the home and refused to come to the door. For several hours, police negotiated with the suspect. The suspect livestreamed the encounter on Facebook. Black Mountain Brewing owner receives cease-and-desist from town’s planning director

BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WLOS) — In a Dec. 12 Facebook post, Black Mountain Brewing announced that the town’s planning director, Michelle Kennedy, sent owner John Richardson a cease-and-desist. This comes after the town admitted inspection and permitting mistakes involving the brewery’s upper deck on Monday, Dec. 8, during a town council meeting. Kennedy read a statement during Monday's meeting, saying, “previous town employees made mistakes in administering state law” when reviewing permits and inspections for commercial properties, including the brewery at 131 Broadway Ave. Richardson said he was emailed the cease-and-desist on Thursday, Dec. 11, around 5:30 p.m. BLACK MOUNTAIN BREWING DISPUTES TOWN'S TIMELINE OVER UPPER DECK CODE COMPLIANCE ISSUES The brewery shared Kennedy's letter on social media, which read, in part, “...I will no longer tolerate your continued personal attacks. Elderly Florida man rescued by cops after slipping while blowing leaves on roof: video

An elderly man tumbled right off the edge of his roof while he was blowing leaves on Wednesday afternoon, but managed to cling to the tiles while he waited for the police to save him, according to video of the incident. The man, who was not publicly identified, let out a heavy sigh of relief once he spotted a pair of officers scaling his roof and inching towards him, according to the body camera footage released by the Tampa Police Department. Tech giant Meta ran advertisements used to lure Australian investors into a fraudulent bond scheme that allegedly defrauded tens of millions of dollars from them. In one sponsored Facebook post, a smiling couple was quoted as being "thrilled" to receive higher returns after investing in corporate bonds to "secure" their financial future. But the reality was far different for 80 Australians, who paid about $23 million to Australian company GIM Trading and now fear their money has been stolen, according to an ongoing investigation by the corporate watchdog, ASIC. It was a blow to Sai Skipworth who lives on Queensland's Sunshine Coast and runs a small business. He lost $300,000. "It's definitely set me back put me under a fair bit more stress," he said."I've had to sell my apartment in order to make sure my business is liquid enough and keep my staff employed." Man accused of golf club thefts tried selling gear online, Glendale police say – AZ Family

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Glendale police say a man is facing multiple felonies after allegedly stealing expensive golfing equipment in a string of thefts at two sporting goods stores in October. He’s suspected in similar crimes throughout the Valley. Authorities said Connor Joseph Burgess, 31, was arrested on Nov. 25 on accusations of organized retail theft, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a narcotic. Glendale police shared security camera footage of the golf club thefts on Facebook.(Glendale Police Department)According to court paperwork, the investigation began when officers first called out to the PGA Tour Superstore near 73rd Avenue and Bell Road on Oct. 10. At the time, police learned that a man, now identified as Burgess, walked up to the display area and took six Ping brand drivers, worth about $620 a piece, while making “no effort to pay” for the clubs, the document said.
