Someone Is Selling An Incredible Lost Ford Concept Car On Facebook Of All Places

There is always something magical about a great concept car. Engineers and designers come together to make a vision of what could be. Concepts capture the hearts and minds of enthusiasts, and sometimes, automakers are brave enough to put them into production. Many concept cars disappear shortly after their time in the spotlight, and they rarely fall into the hands of the Average Joe. That was the case for this Ford Probe IV concept car. Once an optimistic idea for the future, the car disappeared. Now, it’s back, and amazingly, it’s for sale on Facebook, of all places. You might think that most concept cars get to live a cushy life. Talented people put tons of work into making a concept car real. Then, their hard work gets to be seen by potentially millions of people. It would be a fair assumption to think that concepts get to retire to some great hall where automakers preserve history. Sadly, the reality is that a lot of concepts are sometimes left outside to rot or are sent to the crusher.  » Read More

White River Health parts ways with Aetna Medicare Advantage plans – Batesville, AR

White River Health will no longer be an in-network provider for Aetna Medicare Advantage plans beginning Jan. 31, 2026, the health system announced Monday. The change applies only to Aetna Medicare Advantage plans; Boeing retirees and other select employer-sponsored plans will continue to be accepted. Hospital officials acknowledged the change may be frustrating for patients and said the organization remains committed to helping patients navigate the transition. Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment runs from Jan. 1 through March 31. During that time, beneficiaries are allowed to change Medicare Advantage plans. Oversharing on Instagram is narcissistic. Doing it on Facebook is having a meltdown

I’ve turned one of my abiding memories of the year over in my head many times. It was summertime, hot, and I was in a small jazz bar in Brooklyn for an early-evening show. The audience was sparse, typical for a pre-dusk midweek gathering, maybe around a dozen people. A few were much younger than me, in their 20s. A few were older, probably in their 60s. When the musicians were on a break, I took out a book to read. Two or three of the younger people did the same, sitting in silence, turning pages. Given the same opportunity to amuse themselves during this pause, all of the older people took out their phones and started scrolling. In the bar’s pleasant gloom, their faces were up-lit by an artificial glow. It would be a reach to extrapolate too much from this scene, but it did feel like it meant something. A few days later, another scene. I was waiting for a train when I decided to take a photo of the same book I was reading in the bar,  » Read More

Ventura County’s Downtown Oxnard Named Among California’s Newest Cultural Districts

In a notable recognition of Ventura County’s cultural diversity, the California Arts Council (CAC) has named Downtown Oxnard as one of California’s newest state-designated cultural districts. On December 12, 2025, the CAC announced 10 new cultural districts in California. The CAC-administered program supports “vibrant, inclusive creative economies,” according to its website. The cultural districts “amplify the program and expand the original cohort” established in 2017, further representing the “creativity, diversity, and unique artistic identities of communities” across California, the CAC said. Considered the charm of “Old Town Oxnard,” downtown Oxnard hosts a thriving cultural arts community, including the Carnegie Art Museum, Heritage Square, Historic Plaza Park, and Plaza Stadium Cinemas, according to the Downtown Oxnard website. The recognition “shines a spotlight on the artists, small businesses, nonprofits, culture bearers, and residents who bring Downtown Oxnard to life every day,” Visit Oxnard said in a social media post on December 16, 2025. Here are the 10 new cultural districts in California:  American Indian Cultural District,  » Read More

Taco restaurant closes its doors for good after 12 years serving Chattanooga’s Northshore

by Sam Talley Fri, December 26, 2025 at 8:46 PM Updated Fri, December 26, 2025 at 10:33 PM A restaurant on Chattanooga's Northshore has closed its doors for good. According to a Facebook post from the restaurant, Taconooga shut down on Dec. 26. The announcement comes nearly 12 years after the restaurant's grand opening, which was in March of 2014. Taconooga is in the same building on Frazier Avenue where a deadly weekend crash took place back in 2023. That wreck led to a significant safety overhaul last year, including changes to the sidewalks and a center turning lane. The restaurant is also within walking distance of the Walnut Street Bridge. The historic and popular walking bridge linking Chattanooga's downtown and its North Shore closed back in March for an estimated 18 months. The social media post did not specify a reason for Taconooga's shut down.  » Read More
