Despite the challenging times and global uncertainty, LinkedIn sees India as a market for focus and investment, given the country’s economic momentum in the current environment and its trajectory over the longer term, said Daniel Shapero, chief operating officer at the professional networking platform.“Interestingly, despite what’s happening in the labour market globally, India’s unemployment rates are actually going down. Sectors such as technology and media, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, education and retail are still hiring, as reported in our Jobs on the Rise 2023 list that we published in January,” Shapero said in an interview with ET.“The most common skills that these industries are recruiting for include merchandising, market research, recruiting, healthcare staffing, CRM, UX, copywriting and data visualisation. Wong, a senior, won the 50-yard freestyle in 21.66 seconds and the 100 freestyle in 48.35 seconds. Wong also anchored Mountain View’s winning 200 medley relay with Yonten Ghadong, David Kilway and John Ipe, winning in 1 minute, 41.49 seconds. The same foursome won the 200 free relay in 1:30.02. Mountain View also got a wins Yonten Ghadong in the 100 butterfly (53.67) and David Kilway in the 200 individual medley (2:03.60). Walla Walla won the team title with 360 points.
