The New York Yankees were no-hit by the Houston Astros Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. It was the third no-hitter in the majors this year. Right-hander Cristian Javier led the way, throwing the first seven innings. The only baserunners were a walk in the first inning and an error by Alex Bregman. Familiar Mets foe Hector Neris threw the eighth inning, walking a pair but keeping the no-hitter intact. Ryan Pressly finished it off. He struck out Anthony Rizzo and Josh Donaldson, then got Giancarlo Stanton to ground out. It came just two days after Pressly gave up four runs in the bottom of the ninth to the Yankees in the Astros’ collapse. Of the three no-hitters throwing in MLB this year, two of been of the combined variety. The other, of course, was accomplished by the Mets with Tylor Megill, Drew Smith, Joely Rodriguez, Seth Lugo and Edwin Diaz. JP Morgan Private Bank has recruited a portfolio strategist from UBS to join its team in New York. Hector Trujillo Gutierrez joined JP Morgan this month after nearly eight years with the Swiss firm, according to an announcement he made through LinkedIn on Thursday. Trujillo Gutierrez was a director, portfolio strategist at UBS and prior to that covered Latin American sovereign risk for the firm, per LinkedIn. A spokesperson for JP Morgan did not return a request for comment while Trujillo Gutierrez did not respond to an inquiry sent through social media. While at UBS he held dual registrations as a broker and investment advisor. According to his BrokerCheck report, he left UBS on Tuesday. Prior to UBS, Gutierrez spent a year with Roubini Global Economics as a Latin American analyst and also worked as an assistant economist to the Chief Economist Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit in Mexico City between 2010 and 2012, per LinkedIn.

Following the technical difficulties, several career professionals who utilize LinkedIn expressed their concerns through social media. 2LinkedIn is seemingly down for thousands of users Is LinkedIn down? LinkedIn appeared to be down for many users, as of around 10.30am on Monday, June 6, 2022. According to Downdetector, approximately 76% of accounts reported that it was from the website's end. Approximately 22% of accounts that were reporting issues reported that it was a server issue. It seemed to be affecting users in Washington D.C., New York City, and Boston more so than in other areas. It was also affecting users in the United Kingdom. Weeks later on Tuesday, June 21, LinkedIn went down yet again during another technical incident. During the day's reported problems, US users experienced outages that spiked in the morning.
