The Microsoft-owned social networking giant LinkedIn has stepped up to welcome further security improvements. Specifically, LinkedIn has now made its private bug bounty program on HackerOne available for the public to participate. LinkedIn Bug Bounty Program As announced via a recent post, the popular social media platform LinkedIn has now formally announced its bug bounty program. LinkedIn is one of the largest social platforms known for professional networking. It currently boasts over 830 million users. This massive user base naturally attracted cybersecurity threats. Hence, the platform kept appearing for breaches, bugs, and data scraping in the news. Nonetheless, the service continued working to strengthen its security, and now, they have moved on to welcoming bug reports from everyone. As elaborated, the platform already had a bug bounty program running since 2014 on HackerOne. However, it was a private, invite-only program. But now, the platform has opened it up for everyone to participate, as long as the bugs fall into the approved categories. Perhaps our elected officials can collaborate to come up with a solution that will benefit the millions of Americans who are saddled with life-long debt because they dared to get a college degree. I, for one, believe that forgiving the interest on educational loans and then having the companies work with borrowers to negotiate repayment terms that work with an individual’s economic situation would be a welcome relief. It’s way past time that our elected officials stop pandering to the childish whims and political handmaidens who answer only to big donors and big business. You must get something done. President Biden, I urge you to act on your promise to cancel student debt or to come up with a plan that will at least ease the burden that too many Americans carry.

Effective immediately, Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has implemented a new measure that requires a hotel reservation through Discover Qatar for the entire duration of a foreign national's stay in order for the foreign national to be eligible for a visa-on-arrival. The length of visa granted will correspond to the duration of the hotel booking, ranging from a minimum of two days to up to 30 days, with the option of a one-time in-country extension of their visa of 30 days.
