Hyderabad: In their bid to end the menace of fake educational certificates, and its racket, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will coordinate with the state police to develop a new technology while working with the national academic depository through a digital lock system for downloading original certificates. Telangana police, which extensively uses several technologies for regular policing, will assist the state-run varsities to ensure that students do not fall for the fake certificates trap and they would possess only genuine certificates. TSCHE officials recently conducted a joint meeting of all vice-chancellors and the DGP, M Mahendar Reddy. On top of the agenda was the worrisome increase of fake educational certificates. The DGP brought to the fore the specific vulnerable areas and how the negligent attitude of some educational institutions was helping large-scale supply of fake certificates. To prevent such activities, the universities must opt for a technology that can create certificates in a new format and which can be digitally downloaded, he adviced them. Taking cue from Reddy’s advice, the universities are to opt for a digital lock system for QR codes or have identification marks in digital mode on the certificates to detect the fake ones.…

Biotechnology company Biomerieux has been crowned as the best place to work in France in 2022, according to Glassdoor's annual rankings of employers.Biomerieux was a new entrant to this year's Glassdoor rankings. Culp didn’t mirror Musk exactly—Culp posted on the career networking website LinkedIn and Musk is a Twitter (ticker: TWTR) devotee—but the aim was the same: to speak about his company without going through a filter like the mainstream media. In his post, Culp laid out his vision for General Electric ( GE ) in the coming months and years. He started out simply with “Team,” addressing all GE stakeholders. He’s plainly including investors in the group. Culp is transforming GE. There’s simply no other way to put it. In the three years since Culp took the reins, GE has paid down more than $80 billion in debt. And now it’s splitting into three companies–one dedicated to healthcare, one to commercial aerospace, and one to power generation. Still, since GE announced the split in early November, shares are down about 11%. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average are both down about 1% over the same period.
