B2B Unplugged: The Creator Sessions – What I Learnt About Being a LinkedIn Creator

If you’re working in the creator economy, it’s easy to feel disconnected from the rest of the industry. For an industry built on connection, much of our networking ends up confined to LinkedIn feeds and DMs. We build a LinkedIn presence in isolation, quietly guessing what works. Lately, I’d been questioning my own approach to the platform. So when a small creator-focused event popped up in London last week, hosted by LinkedIn creators, I decided to see what it might offer. Created by Jake Kitchiner , ChannelCrawler Founder and Chris Peters , B2B Marketing Partner at Wavemaker , B2B Unplugged: The Creator Sessions was an intimate affair. With just 30 people in the room, I went in with one aim: to understand how other professionals are actually approaching LinkedIn in 2025. LinkedIn has become a central part of how we build our professional identities, yet most of us are still figuring it out as we go. Hearing creators, strategists, and brand marketers talk openly about their habits and missteps made it clear how much of this work happens behind the scenes. Instead of a formal agenda, we jumped straight into an honest, cross-disciplinary discussion about what's working, what’s not, and

Is LinkedIn sexist? Women say LinkedIn boosts bro-coded male profiles – India Today

LinkedIn users are reporting major jumps in reach after switching their gender to male or adopting "bro-coded" language, raising fresh concerns about algorithmic bias on the platform. LinkedIn denies any gender-based influence in its feed. New Delhi, UPDATED: Nov 25, 2025 11:24 IST If you’re on LinkedIn, you might be getting more impressions based on your gender, or at least that’s what a series of user-led experiments is alleging. These tests have raised uncomfortable questions about whether LinkedIn’s algorithm favours men, or at least people who write like them. Over the past few weeks, dozens of women on the social networking platform have reported dramatic spikes in visibility and engagement after switching their listed gender to male or rewriting their profiles in aggressively assertive, jargon-heavy “bro-coded” language. Although LinkedIn has firmly denied any gender-based weighting in its ranking systems. The trend reportedly began with posts from women who said their reach had dropped noticeably following LinkedIn’s recent algorithm tweaks. In response, some decided to test the system directly, as reported by The Guardian. These women changed their pronouns, names, or profile genders, while others swapped their usual tone for more stereotypically masculine language, peppering their bios and posts with boosterish

Three jailed for stealing total of £568,000 from bank customers – Credit Connect

Three men from London have been sentenced to a combined 10 years and four months after stealing a combined £568,000 from victims by fraudulently posing as bank customers and gaining access to their accounts. The sentencing follows investigation and arrest by a specialist banking industry-sponsored police unit, the Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit (DCPCU). Tai Buchanan, the son of Wayne Field, would recruit people to go into bank branches and impersonate genuine customers by using the obtained stolen information. The recruited accomplices would then attempt to gain access to customer accounts and withdraw cash directly if successful. Simultaneously, Field and Tesfamichael used stolen information to impersonate genuine account holders over the phone to gain access to their accounts. From there, they would steal money from the victims’ accounts. Field, Buchanan and Tesfamichael also used the stolen information to upload victims’ cards onto mobile phones in their control. These would then be used for purchases at shops. Through the police’s investigation, they found stolen personal and banking information of victims on devices belonging to

FIDE World Cup 2025 semifinals: Game 2 ends in deadlock as tiebreaks await

The second classical games of the semifinals followed a familiar script in Goa. Once again, deep preparation shaped both encounters, long early thinks filled the hall, and the positions that emerged were rich but balanced. And once again, neither game produced a winner. With two more draws on the board, all semifinal spots will now be decided in tomorrow’s tiebreaks. The ceremonial first moves were made by Mr. Sanjay Dhivre, IRS (Indian Revenue Service), Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, and Mrs. Bhagyahree Dhivare, IAS (Indian Administrative Service), CEO of the Election Commission Nagaland on board two. The first result arrived from the all-Uzbek clash between Javokhir Sindarov and Nodirbek Yakubboev. Their game featured subtle opening nuances before resolving into a level endgame on move 31. For two players who know each other exceptionally well and entered a line offering limited winning chances, the early handshake felt natural. The second game, between Andrey Esipenko and Wei Yi, carried more tension. The Chinese grandmaster had been outprepared and slightly outplayed in their first game. When I ran into him at dinner last night, I asked him about it, and he admitted he was “lucky” to escape with a draw. So it was
