NearPoint Strategies Launches Revenue Linked Executive LinkedIn Program to Turn C …

NearPoint Strategies’ ground breaking new programme launches to help executives and B2B sales teams turn LinkedIn into a trust-driven engine for personal brand growth and real business results. Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, United States, September 10, 2025 — NearPoint Strategies today announced a new executive LinkedIn program built to translate leadership visibility into commercial outcomes. Designed by founder Natasha Walstra, the system helps B2B executive teams and enterprise sales organisations build trust, expand influence, and create attributable pipeline without ghostwriting mills or spammy outreach. Why now: trust is scarce, but decision-makers still act on credible voices Public trust remains fragile: Edelman reports a widespread “grievance” mindset, underscoring why generic corporate channels underperform and leadership voices matter more than ever. Meanwhile, high-quality thought leadership continues to move real deals—driving RFP invites, willingness to pay, and conversion when executed well. NearPoint’s program is engineered for revenue alignment from day one and focuses on relationship-driven social selling over cold outreach. Components include: Executive positioning & profile re-builds aligned to strategic narratives and commercial objectives. Recorded thought-leadership sessions that extract authentic POVs from busy leaders—no ghostwriting voice drift. Visibility & engagement playbooks mapped to business priorities (Enterprise expansion, hiring, investor relations). Nearbound relationship

LinkedIn 2025: Short Authentic Videos Boost Professional Engagement – WebProNews

In the evolving world of professional networking, LinkedIn has emerged as a powerhouse for video content, with its algorithm increasingly favoring dynamic visuals to boost engagement among business leaders and career builders. As we move deeper into 2025, professionals are discovering that short, authentic videos can significantly amplify their visibility, fostering connections that translate into real-world opportunities. Drawing from insights shared in a recent guide by Social Media Today, LinkedIn emphasizes the importance of concise storytelling, recommending videos under 90 seconds that hook viewers immediately with relatable problems or bold questions. This shift aligns with broader trends where video content now accounts for a substantial portion of platform interactions, as users scroll through feeds seeking quick value. Experts note that incorporating captions and eye-catching thumbnails can double view rates, while aligning content with current professional pain points—such as remote work challenges or AI integration—ensures relevance. Mastering the Art of Authenticity in Video Production For industry insiders, authenticity isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a strategic imperative. According to a comprehensive breakdown in the 2025 LinkedIn Video Marketing Guide from Flockler, creators should prioritize unpolished, human elements over high-production gloss, as LinkedIn’s audience values genuine expertise over scripted perfection. This approach has

Why teens defy—and how parents can help – University of Rochester

New research shows that teens heed warnings more when parents model their values and show understanding. Adolescence is a period when some teenagers begin experimenting with risky or rule-breaking behaviors such as skipping school, drinking, lying, or staying out past their curfew. When parents find out, their natural response is often to warn their child: Continue with the behavior and you’ll incur stricter rules, less freedom, and the loss of privileges. On the surface, this response seems a reasonable attempt to deter further misbehaving. But how do teens actually experience these warnings—and why do some comply while others become even more defiant? A team of US and Israeli researchers—among them University of Rochester psychologist Judith Smetana—set out to find answers. The resulting study, published in the Journal of Youth and Adolescence, concludes that the way teenagers receive their parents’ warnings depends less on the message itself and more on whether they see their parents as genuinely living up their own purported values. If parents model their values consistently in everyday life and appear satisfied and vital while acting on their values, their warnings are more likely to be perceived by their teenagers as caring guidance. If not, teens often experience

Thomas Pynchon Predicted L.A.’s ICE Age – The Hollywood Reporter

Poor Hollywood. Now that Paul Thomas Anderson has adapted Thomas Pynchon’s work not once, but twice — the upcoming One Battle After Another riffs on Pynchon’s 1990 novel, Vineland, with Leo to boot — someone’s assistant might actually have to read Gravity’s Rainbow. (That is, if they can’t get their hands on an advance copy of the author’s much shorter new novel, Shadow Ticket, out next month.) Pynchon’s daunting masterpiece, a white whale of a Great American Novel, is stuffed with pun-tastic songs, rocket science and World War II-era occultism. It’s the kind of book grad students dare each other to read under the influence of illicit substances. But Hollywood should do its homework. If Pynchon is the high priest of 20th century postmodernism, he’s also proved a prophet of America’s 21st century. Across his oeuvre, he trumpets a constant warning against America’s penchant for both shambolic rebellion and playing footsie with fascism — and Southern California is the Rosetta stone to decode it all. These days, Pynchon is a resolute New Yorker. His Upper West Side neighbors protect the famously press-averse 88-year-old author like a Praetorian guard. And his novels’ Byzantine plots span the globe. But Pynchon traversed California

Trump takes over Obama’s LinkedIn – – Gamereactor

Why is his photo on the former president's profile? Earlier today, I was surprised to see Donald Trump's photo on Barack Obama's LinkedIn profile, so I decided to dig into why, and apparently I wasn't the only one who noticed. For those just finding out, or for anyone who knew about it but didn't know the reason, the situation isn't the result of a hack or a prank, but rather LinkedIn's setup: Obama's "Experience" lists his presidency under the White House, whose official page currently uses Trump's photo. Because of that, the image automatically appears on his profile. For now, it's unclear whether the White House or LinkedIn will adjust the setup to avoid this kind of mix-up. Personally, I think LinkedIn's photo system could use an update to prevent situations like this. But what do you think? https://www.linkedin.com/in/barackobama/ // Gamereactor
