Football Returns to FCS Play Against Alabama A&M in The Legacy Series

By: Nick Guerriero, Assistant AD - Communications & Broadcasting NASHVILLE – Tennessee State returned from Athens with film to review, corrections to make and another road test immediately ahead. The Tigers (0-2) will visit Alabama A&M (1-1) at 6 p.m. CT Saturday at Louis Crews Stadium in Huntsville. This is the second installment of the four-year Legacy Series and will stream on SWAC TV and radio on 102.1 FM The Ville.  Georgia scored on its first five possessions and carried a 35-0 lead into the closing minutes of the first half. Head coach Reggie Barlow said the experience provided TSU's players with a firsthand view of the speed and physicality required at the highest level of college football. "They all want the opportunity to go pro and they want the opportunity to play in the SEC," Barlow said. "So now you get a first hand look at what that looks like, feel like, and how fast that game moves. So we came here with the right mindset, but unfortunately, it was a little bit too much firepower for us." Despite the result, TSU produced several areas to build upon. The Tigers did not commit a turnover, were penalized only once for 10

Announcing Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v4.3, upgrading Terminal-Bench to v4 and adding AutomationBench-AA, an agentic workflow automation benchmark with a private test set. This is a continuation of our rollout of Intelligence Index v5 Changelog (Index v4.2 → Index v4.3): → Terminal-Bench: v2.1 → v4, completing our upgrade to the latest version of Terminal-Bench → Replacing 𝜏³-Banking with AutomationBench-AA, our implementation of Zapier’s business workflow automation benchmark We are continuing to prioritize keeping Intelligence Index as useful as possible by bringing forward a subset of the changes we had planned for Index v5. Each change in v4.2 and v4.3 stands on its own merits and brings the index closer to real-world problem solving, adds more private test sets to prevent gaming, and reduces saturation. Intelligence Index v4.3 raises the difficulty of agentic coding tasks and broadens the types of agentic workflows tested. Because we use a held-out test set for AutomationBench in collaboration with Zapier , the weight assigned to evaluations with private tasks or answers increases from 40% to 45%. Category weights are unchanged from v4.2: Agents 30%, Coding 20%, General 30%, Scientific Reasoning 20%. Detailed changes: ➤ Upgraded Terminal-Bench v2.1 to v4.0: 66 multi-step tasks testing agents on

How Facebook’s revolutionary News Feed kicked off the age of algorithms

It is two decades since Facebook introduced the News Feed – letting loose a world in which algorithms would shape ever more of our lives. In 2006, Facebook was facing something of a crisis. Its internal data suggested that for the first time since its launch two years earlier (as TheFacebook), the company had stopped growing. People weren’t joining, and existing users weren’t spending more time on the site. The solution co-founder Mark Zuckerberg and colleagues came up with, the News Feed, meant individual users’ homepages would be automatically updated with information tailored to them – in particular, new posts their Facebook friends had added. Up to then, users had to actively check their friends’ profiles to see what they were up to. Now, this information would automatically be sent to your homepage. With it, a new world of algorithmic interaction was born. It might seem quaint now, but for many Facebook users at the time, these changes felt like a violation of their privacy and trust.  » Read More
