Montgomery County elementary school teacher faces child pornography charges

An elementary school teacher from North Penn School District was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges. Eric Sanville, 39, of Norwood, allegedly used Snapchat to entice two 8-year-old girls, including one who lives in Sweden, to make sexually explicit content. He allegedly sought to create images of the sexual acts, prosecutors say. MORE: Philadelphia men charged in road-rage shooting on Route 202 in Chester County Sanville communicated with dozens of other minors between the ages of 9 and 13 over Snapchat, sending and receiving pornographic material, according to the criminal complaint. He worked in the North Penn School District in Montgomery County for nine years and was most recently a special education teacher at Gwynedd Square Elementary School, 6ABC reported.  District officials said they were notified about the charges by the FBI on Thursday. Sanville was immediately placed on leave and prohibited from being on campus or having direct contact with students. The district said it is "cooperating fully" with law enforcement and will continue to review information about the case as it's provided. "The authorities shared that, based on the information they currently have, there is no evidence to suggest that any students in the North Penn School District or the surrounding area

Daniels Signs with Gamecocks for Fifth Season – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley announced that Brooke Quarles Daniels (Macomb, Mich./Michigan/L’Anse Creuse North) will join the Gamecocks for the 2026-27 academic year. “Brooke’s wealth of experience will help us right away, as will her combination of skill and toughness,” Staley said. “She is a proven winner and a high-level competitor who will bring immediate value to our team.” A 5-foot-7 guard, Daniels spent the past two seasons at Michigan, earning Big Ten All-Defensive honors in 2026 after ranking second in the league with 2.4 steals per game. Predominantly a starter as a senior, her two seasons in Ann Arbor yielded 5.1 points, 1.9 assists and 2.1 steals per game to go with her 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio. The Wolverines reached the NCAA Tournament in both of her seasons, including a run to the Elite Eight in 2026. Prior to Michigan, Daniels was a standout at Oakland, capturing All-Horizon Leage Second Team status both seasons. Oakland’s first Horizon League Freshman of the Year (2023) was also the only freshman to earn a spot on the league’s all-conference team that season. She followed that effort with a sophomore season that saw her lead the team in

Indoor Golf Club Opens on LA’s Westside in 2026

Stableford, a private golf and wellness club built around indoor simulators rather than fairways, will open its 13,000-square-foot flagship clubhouse in West Los Angeles in late 2026, marking the first new private golf club on the city's Westside in more than 50 years. Located at 2055 S. Barrington Ave. along the Brentwood-Santa Monica corridor, the club is designed to fold golf into the rhythm of a workweek — early mornings, weekday evenings and social nights — rather than the four hours a traditional round demands. Construction is underway. The club takes its name from golf's Stableford scoring system and was developed by co-founders Sanjay Mattela and Drake Walker in response to what they describe as a supply gap in one of the country's most undersupplied golf markets. "It's really a combination of land cost, availability and regulation," Mattela, the club's chief executive, said of the decades-long drought in new Westside clubs. "Building a traditional private golf club on the Westside today would be incredibly difficult." What has changed, he said,  » Read More

Fara Homidi Enters the Mascara Category – WWD

Fara Homidi is diving into a new category. Developed over four years and housed in an acid-yellow vessel, Pool Slick Lash Lacquer, $48, is the brand’s first mascara. Available now at farahomidi.com and sephora.com, the product is offered in two shades — Absolu (glossy black) and Cabana (walnut brown) — and boasts the barrier benefits of tubing mascara but with a sleek, damp-like finish. The eponymous founder said she was inspired by the women who swam and sunbathed by the pool at her apartment complex when she was a kid. “I just remember when they would come out of the water, their eyelashes would be water-sheened and a little bit darker, and glistening and so beautiful, almost like they were wearing mascara without it being mascara,” she recalled. Related Articles Paloma Elsesser for Fara Homidi’s new Pool Slick Lash Lacquer, $48. While the formula consists of plankton extract, pink pepper and pomegranate seed oil to stimulate the hair follicles, hydrate and darken the lashes, the star feature is the precision-curved wand. Made with solid brush fibers, the applicator combs and controls the placement of the product so the finish is clump-free. And like most other innovations in the brand’s assortment

North Penn teacher accused of enticing girls online to send nude pics – PhillyBurbs

Aug. 27, 2026, 10:26 p.m. ET A special education teacher at a Montgomery County elementary school is accused of pretending to be a teenage boy online to entice two 8-year-old girls to engage in sexually explicit acts and send him the images. Eric Sanville, 39, of Norwood, was taken into federal custody on Aug. 27 on a charge of manufacturing and attempting to manufacture child pornography, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Sanville, who is married with a young child, is a special education teacher at Gwynedd Square Elementary School in Lansdale, according to the district.  His Linked-in profile lists him as working as a substitute teacher for North Penn since 2017.  He previously worked as a long term substitute for the Central Bucks School District in Bucks County from 2013 to 2016. The North Penn School District posted a statement on its website Thursday night confirming the unnamed educator has been placed on leave, barred from district property and told not to contact students. The authorities do not currently have evidence to suggest any students in the district or surrounding areas were victims, according to the statement and they do
