North Penn teacher accused of enticing girls online to send nude pics – PhillyBurbs

Aug. 27, 2026, 10:26 p.m. ET A special education teacher at a Montgomery County elementary school is accused of pretending to be a teenage boy online to entice two 8-year-old girls to engage in sexually explicit acts and send him the images. Eric Sanville, 39, of Norwood, was taken into federal custody on Aug. 27 on a charge of manufacturing and attempting to manufacture child pornography, according to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Sanville, who is married with a young child, is a special education teacher at Gwynedd Square Elementary School in Lansdale, according to the district.  His Linked-in profile lists him as working as a substitute teacher for North Penn since 2017.  He previously worked as a long term substitute for the Central Bucks School District in Bucks County from 2013 to 2016. The North Penn School District posted a statement on its website Thursday night confirming the unnamed educator has been placed on leave, barred from district property and told not to contact students.
