DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Zoe Reed, owner of Reedefined at the Katy Depot and operator of Zoe Reed Fitness, is disputing Meta’s decision to permanently disable her business Instagram accounts. Reed said she received an email on Aug. 2 stating there was a password change request on her account. She deleted the email, believing it was spam. She was then sent three emails stating she needed to appeal three disabled accounts: Zoe Reed Fitness, Shop Redefined, and a local leadership class she helps with. Appeal process Reed said the appeal process required her to submit identification and a selfie. She did so, then received notification hours later that she needed to resubmit the same information. She said she complied, and a few hours after that, was told the accounts were permanently disabled for child sexual exploitation, nudity or abuse. “I did not participate in that and that goes against everything that I’ve ever known and grown up doing,” Reed said. On Aug. 4, Reed asked Meta to review the accounts. She said Meta agreed to submit only Shop Redefined for review. Reed said she followed up every 48 hours for about two weeks and was told that if there was

No matter how long social media has been around, people still have their fair share of blooper posts—things that were never meant to be shared online but accidentally posted. But Kirsten (@lil_tachy) from Ohio told TikTok how her partner accidentally exposed her on Snapchat, all because she asked for her help with an injury. “I used to get anal fissures a lot,” Kirsten confessed on TikTok. These are tears and cracks in a person’s anal canal, causing bleeding and pain. Trauma can cause fissures, such as constipation and difficulties with poop. In Kirsten’s case, she explained that she ate a lot of fiber, causing her to have extremely soft stool. “My body doesn’t digest certain things very well, like nuts and seeds,” she further said. Even after going through her digestive tract, Kirsten said that these items come out the same way, causing her to suffer from fissures. Although she ate the right type of food, it seems that there is still too much of a good thing. While nuts contain important nutrients like fiber, this woman ate one too many from Sprouts, and it almost killed her. “And on top of that

The development, at 112 Townpark Drive, will include 157 units with floor plans ranging from studios to six-bedroom apartments. The community is designed to serve Kennesaw State students and will include shuttle service to campus. “We are excited to commemorate the groundbreaking of The Standard at Kennesaw in collaboration with our partners at Paceline Equity Partners,” said Aaron Stange, Senior Director of Development at Landmark Properties. “Kennesaw State University’s continued enrollment growth has created a greater need for well-located purpose-built student housing – and The Standard at Kennesaw will fill that need starting in fall 2028 when we welcome our first residents.” According to the developers, The Standard at Kennesaw will be the first large-scale off-campus student housing community developed in Kennesaw in nearly five years. The property is planned to include more than 11,000 square feet of amenities. Plans call for a resort-style rooftop pool deck with a Jumbotron

Mattel, which owns the rights to UNO, is putting $50,000 up for grabs with the UNO Championship Series. The tournament will begin with a series of qualifying rounds before heading to L.A. for a November 11 finale. That event will be streamed on Twitch, where card sharks will duke it out as they vie for the grand prize. So yes, it sounds silly to use a predominantly luck-based game as the foundation for a high-stakes competition. The UNO Championship Series, however, is perfectly timed. It’s a brilliant move from Mattel, and in honor of the almighty Draw 4 Wild card, allow me to present four reasons why the UNO Championship Series could become a massive hit. Subscribe to get the latest creator news Subscribe Traditional games are hot on Twitch Once upon a time, chess was associated with bright schoolchildren and hustlers in the park. In 2026, however, the 1,500-year-old game ranks among the top titles on Twitch while attracting millions of on-demand views. To capitalize on all that traffic, companies like Chess.com are hiring esports veterans to lead them into the future of gaming. UNO, first launched in

A UK Green Party WhatsApp chat featured a local official affirming that he wanted Israel eliminated, while other participants discussed “killing Zionists” and described antisemitism as “wrong but understandable,” The Times of London reported on Sunday. Green Party member Sophus Magill created the group, called “Greens Against Imperialism,” which activists reportedly used to organize and discuss foreign policy. Asked whether he wanted Israel “wiped off the map,” Magill replied, “Yes, I would like that.” In another exchange, one participant portrayed British Jews as a tool for Israel in the UK, calling them a “brilliant weapon” for the country. Another participant replied that an extreme anti-Zionist position could mean supporting “killing Zionists,” which the person called “wrong but not necessarily racist.” The same participant described being “anti Jews” and “lumping all Jews in with the majority of Israeli Jews as Genociders” as “wrong but understandable.” A Green Party spokesperson declined to address the messages directly, telling The Times that the party did not comment on internal forums or WhatsApp discussions outside official party channels. The bill, which French legislators passed in a 279-81 vote on July 21, would have required platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat to prevent children under 15 from creating new accounts on September 1. Social media platforms would have had to exclude all users under 15 by January 2027. The country’s Constitutional Council struck down the proposed legislation on August 10, finding it violated citizens’ right to freedom of expression and failed to include adequate privacy protections. Though the court reportedly acknowledged the government’s legitimate interest in protecting children, it found the bill “infringes freedom of expression and communication in a manner that is not appropriate, necessary or proportionate .” Following the Council’s order, French President Emmanuel Macron ordered Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu to redraft the proposed ban. “The objective pursued since 2017 by the head of the state on the protection of minors online remains unchanged: to protect the best interests and health of our children while the harmful effects of social networks on them are scientifically documented,” Macron’s office wrote in a statement Friday.
